Moonlight lingerings and bruised-toe waltz.

Lay with me beneath opaque skies.

Bask beneath the blush-tinged smog,

Of humanity’s putrid tower.

Kiss away that splintered lip,

Stains of oil-soaked fingertip.

Pancras melody to Paris retreat,

Great pinnacles of all that was.
